“Dear PoPville,
Last night I was walking near H Street, NE and came across the cutest display! The cookies are fantastic and I would love to find out what cooking blog the writer has?”

“Dear PoPville,
Walked by two men in the process of stealing the front wheel of this car Tuesday morning. 7:25 AM in broad daylight on Vermont Ave a half block south of Logan circle. The two guys jacked up the car, (more…)

“Dear PoPville,
I’m hoping the community can help me out with recommendations for a career counselor/coach for exploring a career change. Particularly, it would be helpful to find someone with expertise in helping experienced attorneys (15 years in my case) explore a new legal practice or transition out of law practice – not simply out of private practice to an in-house role, but to a non-lawyer role.”

“Dear PoPville,
Wondering if the community has ideas of any organizations that will pick up used furniture for donation. “Dear PoPville,
I live in Petworth … have for 20 years.
My recycling has not been picked up on schedule (without a 311 online services request) since Jan. 1 of this year. Trash continues to be picked up (thank heaven), but not recycling. (more…)

“Dear PoPville,
Hey Popville – I am about to move abroad to an area where I will need to drive, but automatic-transmission vehicles are scarce. I am looking for any leads on local instructors skilled at doing what no one in my family could: teaching me to drive a manual transmission. Thanks in advance!”

“Dear PoPville,
Hey there! I came outside to this gem left on my car on Chapin Street NW this morning. Parking is tight there since it’s all residential, but I have a bumper guard on and a very tiny car, because, you know, city living!
Hope the writer is…okay? Deep breaths, bruh.”
