I was hit by a car as a pedestrian in a protected walkway and filed an insurance claim against the driver 5 months ago; insurance company answers my calls 10% of the time and basically tells me it’s pending. Medical bills are dueeeeee, is it lawyer time?? ):”

“I had this exact issue and ended up getting a lawyer. Sadly it’s pricy and I know not everyone can afford that. Also just know it takes a loooot of time for the insurance to process claims, not matter if you have a lawyer or not. I hounded the claims rep”
