From Sweetgreen:

“Sweetgreen launched its biggest menu innovation yet — a new CORE menu, welcoming many exciting changes (Chicken Pesto Parm!).

Over the past several years, the Sweetgreen team has spent thousands of hours combing through customer feedback and ideas, testing new flavor combinations in the test kitchen and working with over 150 farmers across the country to explore new ingredients. From that data and research comes a new CORE menu that truly reflects the best of Sweetgreen and gives people what they want.

The Curry Chickpea winter bowl was the most popular seasonal offering in 2017, and now its here to stay. 10% of Sweetgreen’s customers identify as vegetarian or vegan. The new menu introduces lentils, a new vegetarian protein.

From the Media Relations Team at Mike Isabella Concepts:

“Women at Mike Isabella Concepts are banding together, voluntarily speaking out, and supporting their company. Specifically, a group of female leaders and managers from MIC. Please see their letter attached.

To our Friends, Families, Communities, and Guests –

In light of the recent allegations brought against Chef Mike Isabella and the partners at Mike Isabella Concepts (MIC), we want to send a simple message:

Women are the backbone of Mike Isabella Concepts, and we are proud to have earned our success through hard work, dedication and a genuine love of the hospitality industry.

From a press release:

“Ruta del Vino has launched its spring menu, the first menu of its new Executive Chef, Wille Harner. Harner’s first menu brings back guest favorites like queijo coalho, a firm Brazilian cheese grilled over wood and finished with garlic-infused olive oil and oregano, and introduces new dishes like a Colombian cazuela de mariscos , a coconut milk-based seafood stew, as well as a vegetarian version of Ruta’s popular parrillada. A couple weeks ago I feared Micho’s wasn’t coming back because no renovations had started since they closed back in November. Looks like the sea may be parting right before our very eyes – thanks to Christian for sending:

“Looks like they may actually be doing renovations…new concrete pavers on the patio & lots of new equipment in the interior”

Updates as they get closer, knock wood knock wood, to reopening.
