Following the opening Rosario’s Tacos & Tequila, comes word of more potential taco options for Adams Morgan. Almost exactly a year ago Rumba Cafe closed after almost 20 years in Adams Morgan. Now I hear that a “Mexican concept” is coming to the space. I give this scuttlebutt an 80% accuracy rating. STAY TUNED.

“Shut Happens. It’s True.” When I walked by on Sunday it appeared to be a utility issue. Having just eaten a delicious meal there on Saturday night, my prayers remain strong for a speedy resolution. Please join me in wishing the same.

In September 2017 a fundraiser was launched after the sudden passing of owner Jeffrey Gildenhorn in June 2017.

My husband and I are looking for a fantastic anniversary plan to celebrate 10 years of marriage mid-July. We have a big vacation planned later this year but want to do something special the day of. What is special, beautiful, delicious enough without totally wrecking our budget? Ideally we’d stay in the $200 range for the two of us, some drinks, and of course dessert.
