Back in April Maydan was also selected “#1 on Food & Wine Magazine’s top 10 restaurants of the year”. So it will indeed be very tough to get a table – but worth it when you do!

Zenebech with the official announcement!!

We are officially re-opening on Friday August, 24th at 5pm. We hope to see you for dinner!!!”

Zenebech has been closed since December when a fire gutted next door neighbor #1 Juicy-Cajun Seafood, damaging Zenebech.  Zenebech Injera had only recently reopened, after moving from Shaw, in August 2017. Let’s give them a big welcome back next Friday!

The liquor license placard for The Outsider says:

“New Class “C” Tavern serving a full menu of Japanese fare, cocktails, beer, and wine. Total Occupancy Load of 50 with seating for 49 patrons.”

The Outsiders also said:

The Coupe is going through some changes in the next month. We’ve had summer hours for about a month now (weekdays: 7a-2p; weekends: 7a-4p) and have been working diligently on some awesome projects that will not only better The Coupe for the customers and community, but also for our amazing staff.

Thanks to Jae for sending the update that Ministry had a private event and “opens next week.” Ed. Note: Not sure if that means later this week or next week. At any rate it’s soon! Their website lists staff positions open and says:

I forgot about you Kitsuen. The liquor license placard says:

“A tavern that will serve ramen noodles. The tavern is requesting a Summer Garden with seating for 50 patrons. Interior seating for 109, with a Total Occupancy Load of 150.”

In addition to the ramen will be hookah too.
