Thanks to Mark for sending us the update on the Glover Park Starbucks closure.

“Glover Park Starbucks last day now officially March 30th, huge loss to the neighborhood , no replacement as of yet.”

As for the replacement, last week a liquor license placard was posted there that said:

“New Class “C” Restaurant serving light American food and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Total Occupancy Load of 100 with seating for 50. Summer Garden with 50 seats.”

With Peking Express transitioning to Jerk and with Lalibela moving it got me thinking about how long the Yum’s next door will last and where’s the best carryout Chinese in general. Feels like they used to be on every corner but now they are dwindling. So before they vanish completely where are the best one’s left? Also, where’s the best carryout period?
