“Stabbing Investigation in the 1400 block of T Street NW. Lookout for H/M, wearing white shirt and black jeans.”
Update from MPD: “Last night the Third District investigated a Domestic Violence related stabbing that took place in the 1400 block of T Street NW. The victim sustained non life threatening injuries.
The case was closed with the arrest of an adult male.”

“Early this morning, members of the Third District responded to the 1300 block of 12th St NW for the report of a stabbing. An adult female was transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The Investigation is ongoing but we believe the incident is the result of robbery attempt.

A reader reports: “Morton Street is still blocked off from the shooting last night around 8pm. MPD I spoke to said that no one heard the shots (we were 300 feet away, outside and didn’t either).”

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, in the 5700 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 9:35 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members were advised that DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services had transported a juvenile victim, unconscious and unresponsive, to an area hospital. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead. Detectives’ investigation revealed that the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds, while inside a vehicle, at the listed location.
The decedent has been identified as 1 year-old Carmelo Duncan, of Southeast, DC. (more…)

We are fortunate this happened at a time when no one was in the shop; we are all safe and repairs are underway. However, incidents like this make being a small business so difficult – especially in 2020. We will pick up the pieces and carry on, just like we’ve navigated the rest of 2020. But what a rough way to start the holiday season.”

MPD responded and located shell casings in the 300 block of Delafield Pl NW. Anyone with information or video is asked to contact MPD at 202-727-9099 or text 50411.”

“Today at approximately 12:45 PM, two suspects approached a person walking in the 1600 block of C St SE. One suspect brandished a gun and the other demanded property. The suspects took some of the victim’s personal property before fleeing east on C St. The victim was uninjured. The suspects were described as (1) a black male, late teens-early 20s, thin build, 5’11”, wearing a black hoody and (2) a black male, 6′-6’2″, wearing a dark hoody and black pants with white stripes. Anyone who may have seen this or has relevant information is asked to please call in a tip to 202-727-9099 or anonymously text 50-411.”
