MPD reported: “Shooting at 9th & T St NW. No Lookout at this time.”
Around 11:40pm Sophie and others reported: “Multiple gunshots near Pennsylvania and 12th St SE. We didn’t see it but heard it and freaked out. Now tons of sirens. Stay safe, DC!”

“On May 12, 2021, at approximately 8:30 PM, an argument over access to a gas pump at 12th St SE and Pennsylvania Avenue SE escalated dangerously when an adult female brandished a firearm. Fortunately, the gun was quickly taken away from the woman by another person and no one was injured. (more…)

“On May 10, 2021, at approximately 8:05 PM Officers responded to the 900 block Rittenhouse Street NW for sounds of Gunshots. Once on the scene officers located multiple shell casing. No report of any injuries, however 3 vehicles were damaged. The incident is being investigated by the Fourth District Detective’s Office.
