“Hi-Lawn, the expansive rooftop bar above Union Market, is collaborating with beloved (and now shuttered) Fado Irish Pub on one of DC’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, from March 2-19. Fadó’s DC and Annapolis, MD locations sadly shuttered in 2020 and 2021, when the pandemic prevented a proper farewell, so Hi-Lawn is giving them the ultimate Irish Goodbye, with two weeks of festivities, including Irish dancers, bagpipers, live music, Irish food and drink specials, rugby viewing & more. “Dear PoPville,

I’m looking for a bar or restaurant in DC proper where I can host an event (about 20-30 people) in the next few weeks. Ideally, this place would have covered outdoor space but we are open to other options and willing to be flexible. The main thing is that we do not want to be charged a rental fee for the use of the space or have a bar minimum. Understandably, I may be hunting for a unicorn but figured it was worth asking the community in the event they knew of a business that we could support and that would love to host us.”
