Last Thursday evening, I was drinking cocktails at a bar. The vibe is great. A few minutes into our time there, we noticed a teeny mouse on the floor. He was moving at a leisurely pace and seemed to be feeling right at home in the space.
After letting the bartender know, all he said was “Yea, well we have the door open because it’s so nice out.” Sir, who are you trying to fool?! Our teeny tiny friend made several trips around the floor for the next hour or so, with different patrons remarking on his presence and making jokes about Ratatouille each time he was back on his stroll. Honestly shocked he didn’t get stepped on considering the low lighting and number of people there. Finally, a female-presenting patron walks from the end of the bar with a plastic container, traps the little guy and sends him on his way outside!! She’s a real hero and we were sure to cheer her on as she did this.”
