“Grab your heels and get ready to strut your stuff at the 38th Annual 17th Street High Heel Race!
This iconic DC tradition will take place on Tuesday, October 28th at 5:00 PM at 17th Street NW and R Street NW.

The night will include live performances from your local favorites, a costume contest, and, of course, the high heel race kicking off at 9:00 PM. Whether you’re going for first place, taking a casual stroll, or just came to admire the costumes, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

Pre-race performances begin at 5:00 PM, Racer registration opens at 7:30 PM, and the race begins promptly at 9:00 PM.”

Moby Dick House of Kabob, the beloved Iranian kabob restaurant serving the DC area for more than 30 years, announced today the launch of Sandwiches for the Shutdown, a give-back initiative to support federal employees affected by the government shutdown.
