“Dear PoPville,
The Streets Market at 15th and Pennsylvania is open now. We were in last night and the checkout people were lamenting that the traffic has been a little slow, so far, so sending this in hopes of getting them a bit more publicity. No complaints with Safeway but it’s also nice to have another market in the neighborhood. They have a suggestion box for people to request items for them to stock.
Hope Hill East and EOTR neighbors will make their way in soon.”

Acting Librarian of Congress Robert R. Newlen today named 25 recordings as audio treasures worthy of preservation for all time based on their cultural, historical or aesthetic importance in the nation’s recorded sound heritage.
