“Dear PoPville,
he scene on the 3600 block of 14th St NW in Columbia Heights (between Perry Pl and Spring Rd). I have not heard yet what happened. A passerby asked one of the police officers and the response was simply: “car accident.” The block has been shut down to traffic since at least 0800 this morning, Saturday 29 July, 2023. As of 1015 they have opened the sidewalk on the west side of the street to pedestrians.
There is at least one bicycle in a heavily damaged state. A person’s shoe remains behind near the bicycle in the road. (more…)
