Want to help youth in need?
The Latin American Youth Center Host Homes program is looking for individuals and families living in the Washington DC metro area to provide up to 21 days of housing for homeless and runaway youth for ages 12-17. We also have a transitional living program for ages 16-21 where youth stay with a host family or individual for a period of 18 months. Our program offers residential services to youth with the active assistance of host families and individuals within the community that provide room and board in a secure and caring environment. During this period, sponsoring host families and individuals receive financial support, training, and professional assistance from the LAYC staff.
