Say what you will about the chicken – the space looks freaking amazing. Last week we noted the opening would coincide with the streetcar carrying passengers this Sat. Feb. 27th. Nando’s is having a little fun with that too:

“With the much-delayed D.C. streetcar beginning service Saturday Feb. 27, Nando’s PERi-PERi will get in on the action this weekend by offering its own free streetcar rides along the H Street Corridor. Just in case.

“Nando’s congratulates the city for launching streetcar service on H Street, after years of delays,” said Sepanta Bagherpour, Marketing Director of Nando’s PERi-PERI USA. “But we’ll be launching our own streetcar too this weekend, because you can never count your chickens before they hatch.”

Nando’s PERi-PERi, the South African-Portuguese restaurant known worldwide for its spicy flame-grilled chicken, is celebrating the grand opening of its newest restaurant on Saturday, at 411 H Street, NE. The free streetcar—actually a trolley decked out with Nando’s signage—will operate between the new Nando’s and the Atlas Performing Arts Center at 13th and H Streets, NE. Hours of operation are Saturday Feb. 27 from noon to 9pm, and Sunday Feb. 28 from noon to 5pm.

The Nando’s streetcar is emblazoned with signs reading “H Street Trolley. Nailed It,” and “A Streetcar Named Fire. Here’s to Tasty Transit. Next Stop Nando’s.”

Kidding aside – the space turned out absolutely beautiful once again (don’t forget how it used to look):

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
