You can talk about whatever is on your mind – quality of life issues, a beautiful tree you spotted, scuttlebutt, or any random questions/thoughts you may have. But please no personal attacks and no need to correct people’s grammar. This is a place to vent and/or celebrate things about daily life in DC.

Rant: Watched some people finish the marathon yesterday. Almost cried and then felt really bad about myself for not being are to dedicate myself enough to anything like that
Aw, look– not everything a person has to be dedicated to has to be some obvious physical feat with “tangible” results, finish line and all. There are probably a lot of things you’re dedicated to that you don’t even realize because no one is cheering and handing you cups of water along the way. There may never be a finish line to cross, and that’s okay too. Different people devote themselves to different things.
