Wow…RIP Michael. My condolences to the fellow PoPviller that was his friend and his family.
This is so sad. Most of us probably have been as drunk as this poor guy was that night and made some bad decisions. I wish this hadn’t happened.
How do you know he was drunk, or that it had anything to do with his death even if he was?
so, he left DC on nye, made it to mount county, but went back to adams morgan on the 2nd?
i know it’s not important, in that he passed away, but i just want to follow the story.
and my condolences to friends and family.
Or, more likely, he left the bar and went to the rooftop party. I think when MPD says “He was reported missing on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at approximately 2:52 am from Montgomery County, MD” they just mean that the missing persons report came from/was filed in Montgomery Co.
i see. the report is what confused me. thank you.
Exactly — that’s what I was going to say.
This very sad news to hear in the New Year. I saw this young man’s father on Fox5 DC news last night in Adams Morgan giving out flyers of his missing son. My condolences to the family. A parent never expect to bury their child.
Correction:
This is a very sad story to hear in the New Year.
“At this time, there is no indication of foul play.” Do they think this 23 year old died of natural causes?
Accidental death will likely take this one now that foul play may have been ruled out. I bet you forgot about that one.
This is really sad. Looks like he fell down an airshaft while walking on a roof.
