The Dancing Crab's commercials have to be the worst I've ever seen. The owners saying,...
God you people are boring. Why not more chatter about their footwears?
Cheesy and cheap. Something you'd expect the Montgomery, Al. Convention's Bureau to run...
People thought it was a good look at the time.

I lived in an 8th floor larger studio in this building in 2002, when I was a student at GW. It was a nice alternative to a dorm, cost me about $1000 a month, and was a clean, basic apartment. At the time, it was about a 50/50 mix of students and adults, though it was fairly quiet. Couldn’t imagine paying that much or living there past the age of 23, but I guess that’s how it is now.
FYI, it’s a studio. Seems REALLY high, but those GW students (aka their parents) can surely afford it!
Probably still cheaper than the dorms at GW.
from 1984 to 87 I lived a block from there on 25th, for only $350 a month………man do I miss that! LOL
And $350 was probably a buttload of money way the hell back then….it’s all relative.
i miss living at foggy bottom….. sigh
It’s about right for foggy bottom. My buddy pays 2k / mo for a decent sized 1br right around washington circle. With the new whole foods and all I’d imagine rent has jumped dramatically.
