Trying to figure out a bit of a mystery. The Florian on North Cap and Florida has a sign for an upcoming coffee shop, Cafe Aida. I can’t find anything about it online. There’s a Viennese chain called Aida but no evidence of affiliation. Build out sounds fancy (acoustic ceiling), New York address, but unclear what’s coming.” (more…)

“I spoke with a TJ employee who had stocked the Friendship Heights TJs this morning. He said that they were waiting on the Certificate of Occupancy to open and suggested it would be after Thanksgiving. He also said they still do not have their Alcohol License. Here is to more waiting.”
