“D.C.’s famed concert and nightlife venue Echostage will celebrate its five-year anniversary with a free show on Friday, September 22 featuring internationally-acclaimed DJ duo Cosmic Gate alongside Jason Ross.

Partygoers will enjoy a complimentary open bar Friday night from 9pm to 10:30pm. Washingtonians 18+ can reserve free tickets for Friday’s event here, but must be 21+ for open bar access. In partnership with Electric Family, Echostage will release limited-edition five-year anniversary swag available for purchase at the Cosmic Gate concert.

Damn the Torpedoes, full speed ahead for fast casual at Farragut Square! I feel like folks didn’t appreciate that brilliant title last time : ) so this they’ll appreciate – free food!! I happened to pass by yesterday and was told the Farragut location on I Street (next door to the coming La Colombe coffee) soft opens Wednesday from 11:30-1:30pm and from 4-6pm. On Thursday they’ll be open from 11-3pm. Both days is free for the first 150 but you’ll need to RSVP here. Ed. Note: I’m not certain of the Old Town details but you can find out more and RSVP for that one here.

At last, Buredo’s, “Burrito-size sushi rolls”, second location opens in Dupont today!

“The wait is over, DC! We are opening our Dupont location August 3rd, at 11 am. We have some new menu items in store for you, plus we are giving a free buredo and Spindrift Fresh sparkling water to the first 200 people to join us.”
