To support Taru and his family, their friend James Beard Finalist Chef Masako Morishita and Cold Fire Lab, a fermentation lab specializing in filamentous microfungi, are collaborating on a special Tempeh Teriyaki Burger. Magnificent fast casual news for Columbia Heights. Z Burger is coming back to Columbia Heights!! But that’s not all, they will share the old Ledo pizza space with the absolutely awesome Maman Joon. When you enter Z Burger will be to the right and Mama Joon to the left (sorta like a mini food hall or if anyone remembers the KFC/Taco Bell mashups.)
