8 Eight Arrested when Search Warrant delivered in the 4000 block of Kansas Avenue NW in Petworth

From MPD at midnight:

“A short time ago, members of your Fourth District Crime Suppression Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 4000 block of Kansas Avenue, NW.

During the event, 8 adults (6 males and 2 females) were stopped, and subsequently arrested.

A loaded handgun, along with suspected illegal drugs to include:

several bottles of PCP (phencyclidine), crack cocaine, opiate pills, liquid codeine, xanax (alprazolam) pills, and heroine, as well as money, was seized.

Today’s enforcement action comes as a result of an investigation into activity taking place at the address based on a community complaint.
