There’s a high pitched ringing pervading the area around Union Market. Any insight? Other complaints? Feels like some kind of torture to be honest. It is constant. Been going since last Wednesday.”

Ed. Note: Back in 2010 we posted “Anti-teen Noise-weapon Hits DC at Chinatown Metro”, which were then promptly removed. Then in 2016 we posted Anti Pigeon Devices Removed!! “Both make intermittent, high-pitched squeals that are piercingly loud, at least to my 30-year-old ears”. And in July we had a report of a similar noise outside Farragut West.

There’s a bus #buslife parked in the 3500 block of 13th Street NW, looks like they rolled up the metal plates of the bus. This bus take a lot of real state parking. Should they park this in the Raymond Education Campus few blocks away? How legal is this?” (more…)

Just a Workers Rights/Revolution/May Day Logo? Or Something Worse?

Is this guy actually wearing an Aryan/White Power sweatshirt while casually strolling in Woodley Park? Maybe I’m wrong (not an expert here happily), but, wow, that’s concerning if it is.”

Hmm, a search of ADL shows an Aryan Fist but there is no wrench clenched inside. A fist clenching a wrench seems to symbolize revolution, labor day, workers day, May Day or workers rights. Unless I’m missing something?

“BAD construction smell on M st NW between 9th and 10th”

For weeks if not months now, there’s been some kind of underground project happening in front of the townhouses on the southern side of M St. NW between 9th and 10th (near Mt. Vernon Square metro).

I don’t know what they’re doing, but they’ve basically dug up the front yards of the entire row of houses and progress seems… slow. (more…)
