Saw someone walking down Evarts toward 3rd after the first boom with a gas can.”

There has been an eerie, flute-like sound happening near the Petworth metro since last night. One long note followed by two short. Timinf is inconsistent. Anyone know what’s causing it?!
Much louder today than yesterday, too! 24 hours of it has definitely removed any appreciation for it.”

Do you know what happened outside of The Guild apartments (Sunday night) in Navy Yard? I heard this super loud boom that I looked outside to see if it was a gunshot. I was at the West End Library and passed in front of this home on 25th and L. On the lawn are these two small brick monuments. My guess is that they represent where a building once stood, but I’m not sure. Any guesses?”
