From WMATA:

“On Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Sept. 28, free shuttle buses will replace trains between Foggy Bottom and Pentagon on the Blue Line and Foggy Bottom and Court House on the Orange and Silver lines.

There will be no Blue Line train service at Pentagon, Pentagon City, and Crystal City, however Yellow Line service will be available. Crews will be working to replace fasteners and anchors as well as performing maintenance on the third rail and rail renewal to ensure reliability.

I thought maybe these were genuine responses but then my friend pointed out they were likely just Chat GPT and WMATA was actually not responding to me (the machine was :/). Feeling grateful for my dc neighbors! Today (Wed.) I lost my left airpod after getting whacked by the train door at Pentagon City trying to make it onto the metro 😭 I checked with the station manager at l’enfant when making my transfer and someone had turned it in! Whoever you are, if you’re reading this, you rock and I hope you have an awesome day! I got it back!

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and concern regarding the current shuttle bus plan for the Green Line shutdown, which is scheduled from August 2nd to August 31st. As a federal employee who relies on the Green Line to commute to the Suitland Federal Center, the designated shuttle service is inadequate and has created a significant and unnecessary hardship for hundreds, if not thousands, of employees.
