S. reports: “I live on Irving and Georgia and we woke up to a destroyed retaining wall due to an overnight probable carjacking and crash (the police are still finalizing the carjacking report). Given yesterday’s incident at Odd Provisions. I’m hoping this isn’t becoming the new way for people to ditch the cars.”

On the morning of Saturday August 19th, I was on a motorcycle and got run over by a semi truck at the intersection of 7th street and New York ave while stopped at the light. The driver pushed forward while our light to left was red. I got crushed under the the front right tire. (more…)

Jared wrote us: “NBD, just a segway exploding at Dulles. Happened around 7:30pm. Walked by briskly as it was smoking. When I got to security, it burst into flames.”
Dulles wrote: ‘ALERT: Around 7:30p.m. smoke was observed in the main terminal caused by a police motorized segway. Passengers evacuated as a safety precaution. MWAA Fire and Rescue responded, contained the smoke and completed ventilation by 9 p.m. Operations resumed afterwards.”
