Any complaints about the DPR and their ridiculous regulations for using “athletic” fields? I’ve lived over here on v street next to Harrison park (basketball court, kids jungle gym, and baseball field)… and the DPR keeps it locked like 95 percent of the time. One of the only green spaces around and it’s locked up. (more…)

Join us on Monday July 4th from 1pm until the fireworks starts for fresh Maryland blue crabs steamed on site all day long.

The Washington Post reported a 15 year old boy was killed, a police “officer was struck in the leg and two other people were shot.”
From MPD:
“MPD is responding to the area of 14th and U Street, NW, for a shooting incident in which multiple people have been shot, including an MPD officer.”

Oswald writes: “Today’s first photo reports that the Butter Me Up sign on T St. that appeared last December has now disappeared without the restaurant ever having opened. Was the sign relocated to the BMU that did open in Montgomery Mall? Will National Taco be returning?”
Ed. Note: When Montgomery Mall did open we were told T Street would still be coming “this Summer”. Stay tuned.
