3608 14th Street, NW

Back in 2018 we posted some scuttlebutt about the excellent Ethiopian Restaurant CherCher had signed a lease on 14th Street Uptown. I had forgotten all about it but amazingly it’s still happening!

A recent liquor license application says:

“A restaurant that will serve Ethiopian, American, Italian, and Latin Foods with 62 seats and a Total Occupancy Load of 75. Sidewalk Café with 26 seats.”

1334 9th Street, NW

This is very good news, CherCher was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient in 2016. The first opened up on 9th Street in Shaw back in 2012. Check out their menu here.

Stay tuned.
