“Dear PoPville,

Wanted to alert readers to be on the lookout for this person who was able to gain access to the Library of Congress daycare earlier this week. He is a known convicted sex offender (his victim was 5!!!).

The system worked – he had no contact with the children, was escorted out, arrested by Capitol Police and charged with unlawful entry. However, parents were notified last night that he has been released.

Capitol Police has issued a BOLO (be on the lookout) for him for the Capitol Hill area, but it appears that his address on record may be the shelter on New York Avenue. If he is homeless and transient, he could end up anywhere in the city.

Wanted to alert readers to be vigilant, as always, but in particular for this person.”

Following are partial communications from the Daycare to the parents: (more…)

Over 30 years, he has built more than 250 stickwork sculptures, from Scotland to Japan to all over the United States.
