From MPD:

“On 10/27/19 at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers from the First District responded to the 200 block of 2nd Street NW for a report of a man in the street threatening people with a gun. On the scene, officers located a small group of people who reported that during an argument, a male suspect pulled out a gun, struck one victim and threatened to shoot the other victims.

MPD and United States Capitol Police coordinated a canvass of the area and stopped the suspect without incident. A further intensive search of the area located the handgun where the suspect had hidden it following the offense. The male suspect was placed under arrest for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries as a result of this incident.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
