“38th ANNUAL ADAMS MORGAN DAY– the longest continuously running neighborhood festival in the nation’s capital — once again invites residents, neighbors and friends to experience our renowned eclectic culture, businesses and lively artistic beat this Sunday, September 11, from noon to 6 p.m., centered at 18th Street NW and Columbia Road NW, and at participating Adams Morgan businesses. Bands play all day at SunTrust Plaza; artists will vend on the corner plazas and in front of businesses; and games take place in Unity Park. A pre-arranged basketball tournament will be held simultaneously at Kalorama Park. 18th Street will remain open and visitors will enjoy specials at the many international and local sourced participating restaurants of Adams Morgan.
