“Dear PoPville,
It looks like a new indoor plant store will be opening in Pleasant Plains on the corner of Euclid and Sherman. This space was previously City Corner Market. Signage for Cap and Stem went up this week and they seem to be making good progress on the interior, however, I wasn’t able to tune into on an opening date.
As an update, I walked past the store front again this morning and I think they may actually sell mushrooms? Not entirely clear…”

No official reports but another reader reported 5 gunshots fired around 7th and T Street, NW around 7:30pm.

America’s Best Wings and Liquor Store opened up a bit further uptown on Georgia near the Petworth metro stop back in December. Stay tuned for an opening date for this second one near Howard, looks close to opening.
