“MPD is on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in the 3500 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. One suspect has been shot. No condition at this time. Additional information forthcoming. PIO on the scene.”
“MPD reports the following road closures due to police activity:
3300-3500 blocks of Georgia Avenue, NW, between Lamont Street and Newton Place
Westbound lanes in the 500-600 blocks of Park Road, NW, between Warder Street and Georgia Avenue”

“Multiple shots. May have been related to police traffic stop at Quebec and Georgia.”

Thursday morning, sometime between 5:30 and 6:30am someone went down Park Place from Rock Creek Church to at least Newton smashing car windows on both sides of the street and looking for valuables. At least 5 cars were hit, three of them from my condo building.” (more…)

A disturbing shooting occurred on Otis Pl NW last night at 8:05PM. The shooting is adjacent to the Bruce Monroe Elementary and the Park View Rec Center. Someone shot approximately 18 rounds (number of confirmed casings found by MPD). (more…)
