MPD reported: “Shooting Investigation in the Unit Block of Kennedy Street, NW. Lookout is for a B/M wearing all black driving a older Gold Honda Accord with heavy tinted windows last seen fleeing Northbound of the location.”

Alan Henney reported: “Update: SHOOTING WITH MANHUNT: Man in his 20s shot in back and leg. Shooter fled in Honda, tracked by Falcon to 13th St and Kenyon St NW DC. He is in custody near Tubman Elementary School after bailout.”

“Dear PoPville,

Last night I was at the Wharf and a dog was attached to a chair by his leash running. My date tried to help catch the dog but he slipped out of his collar & leash once he & the owner got closer to him and then he bolted. My date was unable to help catch him and I was just hoping the owner was able to get him. I haven’t been able to stop worrying about poor Roscoe!”

I was walking down Barracks Row and noticed the Tortuga restaurant is closed/windows covered. It was a Mexican ish restaurant a few years ago and the turned over to this. Curious if it’s changing form again?”

Tortuga posted on their IG December 6th: “Thank you to everyone who has supported Tortuga over the years. We have closed for remodel, but remain open for holiday parties and private events. We can’t wait for you to see what’s next!”
