Ed. Note: Apparently we’re starting the saddest new series: ‘Let’s Show Some Extra Love to Businesses after they’ve been robbed/had their doors smashed’ after Bold Forks was smashed yesterday. Ukrainian owned D Light Cafe received lots of love from the public after their front was set on fire almost a year ago to the day.
Thanks to Nana and all others who messaged the sad/frustrating news from D Light this morning:
“wanted to update that looks like D Light Cafe, a super cute and delicious spot run by Ukrainians, was robbed last night. Their door glass was smashed and their point of sale system was stolen.
The people who work here are so nice and have done a lot to raise money and bring awareness to the war in Ukraine so this is really sad. Everyone should make sure to support them when they reopen.”
Hopefully they’ll reopen 8am tomorrow. Will update when we know for sure.
