“Dear PoPville,

It took a really long time to build this restaurant at the corner of 18th and California NW, and the restaurant lasted only a very short while. I had one meal there that I thought was pretty poor but didn’t get a chance to give them a second change before they closed. It’s an interesting space architecturally with lots of outside seating in front and in the back, and it should be a natural.

I chatted up a woman who was coming out of it a week or two ago. (more…)

“A few months ago I signed a petition from PoPville to save the Foundry Branch Trestle Bridge in Glover Archbold Park. While digging through NPS docs, I found the update that no one appears to have picked up yet. NPS is planning to demolish the bridge. (more…)
