Owner Eric Shin is pleased to announce the opening of his seventh SEOULSPICE location on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 1251 First Street, SE, 20003, in the heart of Navy Yard. Known for healthy Korean comfort food and open daily, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., SEOULSPICE is 100% gluten-free and features rice bowls, gimbap burritos (Korritos), japchae noodle bowls, and salads. From Metro Transit Police: “At approximately 11:45 a.m., MTPD and MPD responded to a shooting aboard a Green Line train at Navy Yard Station. Unfortunately, despite lifesaving measures, the adult male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Follow @Metrorailinfo for service information.”

From Alert DC: “Metro Transit reports due to the police investigation at the Navy Yard Metro Station, shuttles are available at M Street and New Jersey Avenue, SE”

“Metro Transit reports the police activity has concluded and the Navy Yard Metro Station is open for normal operations.”

Do you know what happened outside of The Guild apartments (Sunday night) in Navy Yard? I heard this super loud boom that I looked outside to see if it was a gunshot. Ten minutes later a bunch of cops and an ambulance arrives (around 10:30 pm). Turns out it was the sound of someone falling out their window (more…)
