a previous jaywalking ticket

A reader reports last night:

“When crossing Rhode Island ave at Logan circle be sure to look left right then left again because there may be a cop waiting to write up jay walkers. $20 ticket I just witnessed being written to a runner who went across one lane to the median when the crossing sign was a red hand. Crazy. There’s ought to be bigger fish to fry in this city.”
