“Excellent opportunity to own this renovated condo in sought after Logan Circle. Features Stainless Steel Appliances, recessed lighting, 9′ ceilings, central cd/intercom, pergo floors, and more.”

Sadly there are no photos but more info can be found here. Assuming the place is renovated does $500,000 sound reasonable for a 2 bed 1 bath in this location?

Now I know one reader is offended when I post homes/condos that are under contract but, well, I still think it’s interesting. Do you guys think GDoN is useful if a unit is under contract? Amazingly the first five houses/condos I was going to put up today ended up being under contract. (As I said I walk around and snap photos of interesting units with for sign sales out front, I don’t know until I plug it into red fin whether or not it is under contract.) Anyway, the unit above is in a great location at 2008 16th Street, NW. More info and photos can be found here. I was stunned to see it for sale for $230,000. I suppose that’s why it’s under contract in under 7 days…

“This 5BD/4.5BA renovated Victorian row home is one of Logan Circle’s most prestigious properties. Four expansive levels of lavish living space, gourmet kitchen, luxurious master suite, dining room, gorgeous fireplaces & hardwood floors, lower level in-law suite, and outdoor space. Also includes secure off-street 2 car pkg.”

More info and amazing photos found here.

Oh man, sweet house on a sweet street. Check out the fourth photo of the top row. Incredible! What’s your favorite part of the house? It can be yours for $1,495,000.

Irvine Contemporary is located at 1412 14th Street, NW. It’s easy to walk by without realizing it’s an art gallery (as I had done many times) because there is a very unassuming glass front.

But it is well worth checking out. Currently there is a cool exhibit that has been extended to June 13th of works by Shawne Major.

You can see future exhibitions here. Well worth checking out!

Metrocurean has the scoop:

“The first floor will hold about 60 percent wine, with the remaining space devoted to a small selection of beer, food and specialty items, including cheese, charcuterie, jams, oils, vinegars, pasta, bread and baked goods. An open kitchen in the back will turn out sandwiches and salads to carry out, as well as some favorites off Cork’s menu — chicken liver pâté, oil-cured roma tomatoes, olives, nuts. “I like to say everything you’d need for a picnic,” says Gross.”

More info at Metrocurean.

I think this is a really interesting development as last we heard back in March this space, at 1805 14th Street NW, was slated to become Blu Lounge & Grill.  Does a wine store and market sound good to you?

This home is nearly a house porn edition but it just sneaked under. It was also featured as a door of the day, back in the day.

I think this is the first house I’ve seen that has a sauna. But does $997,300 sound right for a 2 bed 2.5 bathroom house? Also what do you think about the house itself?

I’ve always loved this house/building so I’m glad to get to see what one of the condos looks like. I’d be more interested in one on a higher floor but this one looks pretty good too. Hard to get a feel of the size from these photos though. What do you think of the condo itself? Does $434,900 sound reasonable?

This is “The Temple Garden” located behind the Scottish Rite House of the Temple on 15th near S.

I suppose I could go to the Web site listed in the photo above but does anyone know how you get a plot there?

I know there are lots of bike supporters out there so I thought this might be of interest. A buddy of mine who is an avid biker was trying to getting his bike fixed but there were huge lines at all of his usual stomping grounds. He had heard that there was a spot somewhere on 14th Street that fixes bikes. And indeed there is – Rollin Cycles located at 1320 14th Street, NW. They have bike sales, repairs, and rentals. He says that there is a lot less attitude here than at other spots. And of course you can rent a movie while you’re there!
