On Saturday, September 24, Blake was senselessly killed while at a bar in Washington DC celebrating his friend’s birthday.
Blake was many things to many people and played a pivotal role in the lives of everyone he met. He was a star athlete at Morgan State, a dedicated member of his community where he volunteered his time, and an award-winning Realtor who helped a number of people reach their goals of homeownership. “Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department’s New H Street Bike Unit arrested a man for stealing multiple packages on Saturday, September 16, 2023, in the 600 block of G Street, Northeast.
At approximately 2:17 p.m., officers of the First District’s new H Street Unit were actively patrolling the H Street corridor when they were flagged down for a theft in progress.
