“An argument inside the Halftime Sports Bar between two employees led to the victim being threatened with a handgun. This case was close with the arrest of the offender and the establishment has been closed for 96 hours but the Chief of Police pending a hearing by the ABC board.”

Back in January 2012 we first learned about DC Conscious Cafe Coming to 1413 H Street, NE in the former Buka Restaurant space:
“New Restaurant. World Fusion menu. Social gatherings, book reading and speakers from the community. Entertainment will be provided. Occupancy load is 40.”
The facade has been completely transformed and they look ready to open any minute. Anyone hear anything?

“The First District is currently a investigation a shooting that 900 of H Street NE. The victim, was shot one time and transported to a local hospital. Currently there no known suspects. The shooting is still being investigated by First District Detectives. Anyone with information is asked to call 202 727 9099.”
