“This spring, the DC-based nonprofit FRESHFARM is making significant enhancements to its flagship Dupont Circle Farmers Market, expanding the Sunday market and adding a Thursday market to the Dupont location. Celebrating 25 years, the Dupont Circle market has become one of the most renowned producer-only farmers markets in Washington, DC and beyond. FRESHFARM’s establishment coincides with the 1997 opening of the Dupont Circle market, and the organization now operates the largest network of farmers markets in the region and the third-largest in the country.
Working closely with the District of Columbia and the Dupont Circle BID, FRESHFARM has secured additional space for the FRESHFARM Dupont Circle Sunday Market, and starting on Sunday, April 3rd, will expand into Massachusetts Avenue NW between the circle and 20th Street NW. (more…)
