“As of Monday, October 1st, Bub and Pop’s will be open later.

Here are our NEW hours: Monday thru Friday – 8 am to 7 pm [current hours are till 4pm]
Saturday remains 11:00 am to 4 pm

Stop in for a sandwich and maybe a beer or glass of wine. The photo above is our current selection of beer, plus we have Bub’s Red and Pop’s White (burgundy and chablis). With October just around the corner, we have Weihenstephaner Festbier – from The World’s Oldest Brewery. (more…)

“Terrible accident involving @limebike Scooter rider at Dupont Circle around 10 am @PoPville anyone knows what happened to the rider? I hope all involved are ok”

“MPD reports a crash at 11 DuPont Circle NW. DuPont Circle traffic is being diverted to eastbound on Massachusetts Ave NW and westbound on Massachusetts Ave diverted to 18th Street NW. Please avoid the area.”

Nando’s Dupont/Downtown Reopens after “Phase 1 of a renovation” – Celebrate with Free Chicken Tomorrow

“Nando’s Dupont restaurant (1210 18th Street, NW) is open again, after Phase 1 of a renovation. To celebrate, Nando’s is holding a Dash and offering succulent PERi-PERi chicken and other entrees–for free–to our guests.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18, we’re putting on a #NandosDash at our 18th Street Nando’s in Dupont!

What’s a Nando’s Dash? Simply show up at Nando’s PERi-PERi at 1210 18th Street, NW, between 4 pm and 6 pm to get a free quarter-chicken, chicken sandwich, wrap, or pita.

You’ll have to get your dash on though since it’s first-come, first-served. Eat-in and take-out allowed! There’s a limited number of seats available (though we’ll try and accommodate as many of you as we can).

So, what are you waiting for? Come and get some free chicken, on us!
