Alfa Pie House (1750 H Street, NW, opened back in 2015) is a small business operating downtown in a sea of chain restaurants. I chatted with the owner and like all downtown businesses they are struggling. Their food is really excellent. If you’re headed to your office make sure to stop by for lunch or to bring something home for dinner.”

This is a long shot, but last Monday, 3/15, I was hit by a bicyclist between 3:30 and 3:45 pm while crossing K St. towards the Farragut North Metro Station at the corner of Connecticut Ave. and K St. At the time, I failed to exchange info with the cyclist, but I later found out I broke my elbow and my finger, which required minor surgery. If she sees this, I’d appreciate if she could please reach out.”
