Scott writes August 1st: “Absolute DAGGER restaurant news. Mi Cuba Cafe in Columbia Heights has closed permanently. This was the best Cuban in DC and a great space. Best mojito around. Was planning to hold my 40th bday next year in the upstairs. Sucks so, so bad :(”

Anyone else hear the closure was permanent?

It is “a comprehensive effort to improve the quality and use of public spaces in Columbia Heights and Mount Pleasant through data-driven analysis, guideline development, and inclusive community engagement.” It includes four components: Inclusive Engagement, a Public Life Assessment, Design Guidelines, and a Sidewalk Vending Study.
