Yo!! Cork Wine Bar and Market opening a 3rd location near Medium Rare (the old Yanni’s) in Cleveland Park!!

“Diane Gross and Khalid Pitts, owners of Cork Wine Bar, are proud to announce the expansion of their wine bar and market to Cleveland Park. The husband-and-wife team’s newest project will be located at 3504 Connecticut Ave NW, with a targeted opening of early Fall 2025. The third Cork location follows the 17-year-old flagship on 14th Street NW and an outpost in Spring Valley, which opened in 2021. “We are excited to join the Cleveland Park community,” says Gross. “We are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors and seeing old friends and regulars, and introducing them to the new Cork, a neighborhood place where guests can gather to enjoy good food, excellent company, and delicious wine.”

Cork Cleveland Park will have 20 seats in its street-level wine bar and retail area, a mezzanine-level tasting room with an additional 15 seats for wine classes, (more…)

After slaying the mixology scene for 24 years and showing the prowess of her cooking skills, casually winning competition television shows like Guy’s Grocery Games and Buddy’s Holiday Recipe Rumble, this New York born-Italian firecracker is serving up round three of her beloved Buffalo & Bergen in the historic Sam’s Park & Shop at Connecticut Avenue and Ordway Street.

For the next two weeks, February 6 -9 and 13 -16, 2025, Buffalo & Bergen Cleveland Park is only open each week for four days 7:30 AM – 3:00PM. Starting Monday, February 17, 2025, it will begin servicing the neighborhood 7 days a week. (more…)
