“North Capitol Main Streets will host its 1st annual Taste of North Capitol on Thursday June 1st, from 7pm to 10pm. The event will celebrate the neighborhood’s diverse businesses and residents, and is a fundraiser for initiatives that enhance and promote commerce within the Bloomingdale, Eckington, and Truxton Circle neighborhoods. Held in the Atrium at the NPR building, guests can expect an awesome showing of food and cocktails as bars and restaurants come together for the first time ever to showcase the unique offerings of the neighborhood in this manner. The Taste of North Capitol aims to highlight this unique neighborhood and the businesses that make it so special.
Catch a dynamic drum duo jam as you enter the Taste of North Capitol and get hip to the neighborhood’s newest and coolest music studio on the block, 7DrumCity. Guests can expect a festive atmosphere, unlimited cuisine and cocktail tastings from the Taste of North Capitol’s host committee of chefs, restaurateurs, and mixologists.
