According to employees at the store, the Harris Teeter at Jenkins Row will be closing. Anyone who has been in the last few weeks has noticed the barren shelves that hasn’t been restocked. The 45,000 sq ft store opened in 2008.” (more…)

“Hiring and training are now underway for Wegmans Food Markets’ first store in Northwest Washington, D.C. at City Ridge. Located at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Rodman Street, the store will be part of the historic building formerly occupied by Fannie Mae’s headquarters. The new store is scheduled to open in the summer of 2022. Wegmans plans to employ approximately 450 people at this location, including 150 full-time positions.
