S. passes on the GoFundMe for “Community Support for Aresa and C’Mya from MV Calle 8”:
“On April 14th, in the middle of the night, two dear members of our community lost everything due to a tragic fire in their home. Aresa and her six-year-old daughter, C’Mya (from Mundo Verde Calle 8 first grade), just experienced a life-altering tragedy which they are still mourning and processing. It all happened so fast, and if it weren’t for the neighbor’s pounding on their door in the middle of the night, things could have been much worse. By the grace of God, the entire family is safe, however, the family only has what they were wearing that night. Their home is deemed a total loss, including the loss of C’mya’s pet cat – Benji.
