Packages, packages, packages! Package theft, stolen/open Amazon packages strewn on the streets and in alleys, those giant Amazon delivery containers left in building lobbies… But this is a different topic of conversation: constant stream of mis-delivered packages.
It seems at least once a week I walk around the surrounding blocks (10th and V to as far afield as 11th and Barry) delivering other peoples’ stuff. (more…)

“I asked NPS directly about the rest of the timing, and here’s what they sent back to me:
“We anticipate pre-show activities beginning around 5pm, and the main show itself about a half an hour later. The main show is anticipated to run approximately one hour or so.”
Update from NPS:
“President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will help celebrate the 2022 holiday season by lighting the National Christmas Tree at the 100th National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will also attend the lighting. The ceremony takes place on the Ellipse in President’s Park on Nov. 30.
The lighting ceremony will also include remarks from Secretary of the Interior, Deb Haaland.”

I have a major issue with my Property Manager who is also a real estate agent in DC. For the past 1.5 my upstairs neighbors (4 College kids) have thrown parties loud music 20 plus people at a time inside 1-2 days a week till 4am.
I have spoken to them in person and via text numerous times. I have notified the property manager. Nothing Changes. (more…)
